Compliance Specialist
As a Compliance Specialist at Trumo, you will play an important role in ensuring that the company and its operations comply with relevant regulations, as well as Trumo’s principles and policies. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, build6, enhance, and monitor systems and processes that support Trumo in meeting its obligations to customers, payment service users, supervisors, and society.
This position is ideal for someone with a relevant educational background, a logical mindset, project management skills and an eagerness to learn and grow. Strong skills in drafting clear and concise text in English are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Anti-Money Laundering (AML):
- Support the implementation of the company’s anti-money laundering policy by assisting in the development and improvement of the merchant due diligence process.
- Conduct merchant due diligence with risk assessments.
- Contribute to the enhancement of transaction monitoring systems and processes.
- Act as a key point of contact for AML matters and escalate issues when necessary.
2. Data Protection:
- Assist in implementing the company’s data protection policy by developing and improving processes that align with GDPR and other regulations.
- Support the handling of data protection-related agreements and address complaints.
- Contribute to ensuring compliance with data protection laws, with opportunities to deepen knowledge in this area.
3. Process & Best Practices:
- Play an active role in improving internal workflows and adopting best practices across the organization.
- Draft and maintain clear and concise policy and process documents to guide compliance activities.
- Assist in preparing and delivering compliance-related training for employees.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Participate in quality assurance projects to enhance compliance standards and operational excellence.
5. Reporting:
- Help prepare and file regulatory reports to supervising authorities.
- Draft ad hoc reports and provide responses to compliance-related queries as needed.

- A relevant educational background, such as studies in law, business, or administration.
- An interest in compliance, data protection (including GDPR), and ethical business practices.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- A logical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Enthusiasm to learn, develop new skills, and take on more responsibilities over time.
